RTSS 2007 Visa Issues and Letters of Invitation

Visa Note:

The sites http://www.unitedstatesvisas.gov/  & http://travel.state.gov/  have information about obtaining a visa for those traveling to the United States. Both sites have links to websites for U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide. The embassy and consulate websites have very helpful information about procedures, timelines, communities served, required documentation, and fees. International registrants should be particularly aware and careful about visa requirements, and should plan travel well in advance.

If you need a letter in support of a visa application, please send your request to Molly Flesner: mflesner AT cs.uiuc.edu, and include your name, mailing address, and fax number, as well as the name of the conference you are attending. (Authors of papers/posters should also include the title).

Letters of Invitation

If you are an AUTHOR of an accepted paper (regular or workshop), poster, demo, tutorial, or competition and need a letter of invitation for a visa to enter the United States, please follow the following steps:

1. Fill out the following letter with your data. This is the letter that you request to be sent to you:

also serving as the General Chair for the Real-time Systems Symposium (RTSS'2007),

Congratulations on getting your paper, "(Put your paper title here)", accepted in 
(Put your conference or workshop name here).  This conference will be held from 
December 3rd to 6th, 2007 in Tuscon, AZ, USA.  We would like to invite you to attend

Please do not forget to include your fax number. The invitation letter will be faxed
to you on official letterhead once your information is verified. If you do not indicate
