RTSS'06 will take place at the beautiful Marina Palace Hotel, right in front of Leblon Beach. The business center at this boutique hotel offers possibly the most desirable office setting imaginable; your computer faces the beach at 30 feet in front of you.
Deadline for reserving a blocked room: October 10 (contact the hotel to see if there are still rooms available at the group rate).
We have standard, executive rooms and luxury suites, for single/twin/double rooms blocked for the conference with free breakfast. Rates are as follows:

Also, please add US $1.50 room tax to all rooms. All standard rooms have a side view of the beach, mini bar and high-speed internet (at approximately US$14/day or US$0.23/min). Executive rooms offer a work desk, sound system, newspaper and express check out. Luxury suites include a bedroom with an ocean front view. Be sure to note that you are travelling with the RTSS 2006 group on your form. Fill out all information and sign and date it. Reservations will be confirmed by the hotel.
Transportation from the airport to the hotel
Depending on the amount of people who register, and the time that they are scheduled to arrive in Rio, we may be able to provide transfers to the hotel from the airport. Please see this space for updates.
Otherwise, you can take the TAXI ESPECIAL (Blue Taxis with air conditioning). The fare runs about US$30 (R$66 at the time of this writing). |
